Race Logistics

The Start

The GOAT,  EPIC and ULTRA  races all start at Far and Wide Zimbabwe on the Mutarazi Falls road in Nyanga Zimbabwe.

The CHALLENGE 32km starts at Golden Pools in Rhodes Nyanga National Park. You will need to get to the start using your seconder or finding a lift with someone else. There is a SHUTTLE but with very limited seats.

The Finish

Aberfoyle lodge is home to the finish line of all races. Your seconders are responsible for getting your kit, tent and car to this point. The first runners normally start coming in from around 11:00 on the Saturday. Majority of runners come in after 14:00.

Seconders

A seconder is your chief supporter who is there to help you get over the line and have everything waiting for you at the end. Due to numbers we only allow 1 seconder per athlete. Organisers are unable to assist with driving vehicles down for you so please organise this before.

IZUZU Sponsored Shuttle

There will be an Isuzu sponsored shuttle from Far and Wide to Golden pools on Saturday, and then from Aberfoyle to Far and Wide on the Sunday. If you need this service then please book a spot through skyrun@farandwide.co.zw as there are limited spots.

Accommodation

The race starts and ends in two different locations so you will need to book accommodation at the start and the finish. Bookings for accommodation at Far and Wide and Aberfoyle can done via email – skyrun@farandwide.co.zw .
