Indemnity and Waiver: By ticking this box I do hereby release and discharge the organizers, any and all sponsors, any and all volunteer groups, all medical personnel, any and all local authorities from all claims for injuries, damage or property loss I may suffer caused by negligence of any above mentioned members and arising out of my participation in this event, including pre and post race activities. I am physically fit and sufficiently trained and experienced in this extreme ultra endurance event and assume all risks for such participation. I accept all rules, conditions and regulations that include the payment of the entry fee and will comply with them.

NOTICE: This is a legally binding agreement. By signing this agreement, you and your party give up your right to bring a court action to recover compensation, damages, or obtain any other remedy for an injury to you or your property or for your death, however caused, arising out of your, or your children’s, participation in any of Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, Mutarazi Sky Walk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd activities, accommodation(s) including but not limited to The SkyRun, all outdoor activities, Ropes courses, High ropes, accommodation(s) the Sky Walk, Sky Line activities, White Water Rafting or within any associated premises of the companies now or any time in the future. By checking the above box I:

A. I ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE for myself and as parent/guardian of my children, heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, attorneys, and assigns, that the participation in any activity(ies) or staying at any accommodation(s),or visit any associated area(s) of Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd, individual or company requires that I first READ AND TICK this waiver, release of liability, indemnification agreement, and covenant not to sue. I AGREE to participate in the SkyRun and other activity(ies), stay at the accommodation(s), visit the associated area(s) in a responsible manner fully realising the inherent risks associated with the SkyRun and other activity(ies), accommodation(s) and associated area(s).
B. I ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that the SkyRun and other activity(ies) and associated area(s) (collectively, the “activities”) are inherently dangerous and fully realise the dangers of participating in such activities and I FULLY ASSUME all risks associated with such participation including, by way of example, and not limited to, the following: the dangers of collisions, abrupt breaking, the dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, inadequate equipment, the released parties’ own negligence, weather conditions, encounters with animals of any kind, drowning, and the possibility of serious physical and/or mental trauma or injury associated with the activity(ies) and area(s).
C. For myself, my heirs, representatives executors, administrators, attorneys, assignees, and successors-in- interest (collectively “Successors”) I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, PROMISE NOT TO SUE AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd, their members, directors, officers, managers, agents, employees, attorneys, and independent contractors (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any cause of action, claims, damages, (including medical expenses and other costs or fees including attorney’s fees) or demands of any nature whatsoever, including, but not limited to, a claim of negligence, which I, my heirs, children, representatives, executors, administrators, attorneys, and assigns may now have, or have in the future against the Releasees, on account of personal injury, property damage, death, or accident of any kind, arising out of or any way related to my (or our) use or participation in the SkyRun and other activity(ies), accommodation(s), area(s) or travel to and/or from the activity, whether that participation is supervised or unsupervised, however the injury or damage is caused, including, but not limited to, the negligence of the Releasees. I AGREE it is my sole responsibility to be familiar with the trails, board walks, buildings, rules, activities and any special regulations. I understand and agree that situations may arise during the activity or my stay/visit which may be beyond the immediate control of the organisers, and I must continually act so as to neither endanger myself nor others. I accept responsibility of the condition and adequacy of my equipment and training. I have no physical or medical condition which to my knowledge, would endanger myself or others if I participate in the activity(ies), stay/ visit at any accommodation(s) or would interfere with my ability to participate in any of the activities. I also acknowledge and agree that I am required to wear appropriate and protective clothing while performing the activity(ies). I agree not to distribute or post pictures or videos of others without prior consent. I understand that Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd or any associated individuals and companies are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. I AGREE, for myself and my successors, that the above representations are CONTRACTUALLY BINDING, and are not mere recitals, and that should I or my successors assert my claim in contravention of this agreement, the asserting party shall be liable for the expenses (including legal fees) incurred by the Releasees in defending against such claims. This agreement may not be modified orally, and a waiver of any provision shall not be construed as a modification of any other provision herein or as consent to any subsequent waiver of modification. Should I or my Successors assert my claim in contravention of this agreement, the asserting party agree the venue of any dispute that may arise out of this agreement or otherwise between the parties to which Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd or its partners, associate companies, agents, employees or related parties (releasees) shall be held solely in the Zimbabwean Court/legal system.
D. I ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that I voluntarily choose to participate in the SkyRun, use the activity(ies), stay at the accommodation(s), visit the area(s) and, I weigh at least 20kg and weigh less than 120 KG I understand and accept the rules, regulations, requirements, and dangers of this activity(ies), accommodation(s), area, I am in good physical condition and have no medical or physical limitations such as allergies, fear of heights, pregnancy, heart conditions, recent surgeries, etc. and am not under the influence of any controlled substances such as alcohol, marijuana, prescription medication, etc. that would endanger me or others.
E. I ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE to follow all instructions provided by Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd or its partners, associate companies, agents, employees or related parties.
F. I ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE to be filmed or photographed by Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and ZipLine (Pvt) Ltd or its partners, associate companies, agents, employees or related parties for the use in promotional materials.
G. Intellectual property Non-Disclosure Agreement - I ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that Far and Wide Zimbabwe, and Mutarazi SkyWalk and Zipline, SkyRun Zimbabwe Copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets observed, seen, heard, or received in any form or format, inclusive of any and all activities, lectures, lessons, initiative tasks, teachings, songs, any and all ropes course designs and elements, Skywalk and Skyline design, Tree Canopy Tour design, building designs, The Turaco Trail and all aspects whatsoever relating to Far and Wide programmes or team builds and Mutarazi SkyWalk activities or lodges are the sole property of Far and Wide Zimbabwe and Mutarazi SkyWalk and Zipline and I will not in any anyway disclose, reproduce or use this information for any reason to anyone or in any situation. I agree that failing to comply with this clause will result in a copyright infringement on intellectual property owned by Far and Wide Zimbabwe and Mutarazi SkyWalk and Zipline and SkyRun Zimbabwe.
CONSENT AND RELEASE OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN (FOR PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE)
 I am the parent or guardian of___________________________________________(child). I hereby certify that I and/or my child or children are in good health that I and/or my child or children have no physical limitations which would preclude safe participation in the activity(ies) or staying at the accommodation(s), and I consent to my and my child’s or children’s participation. I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND the release agreement. I further understand that the terms of this agreement are legally binding and I certify that I am signing this agreement voluntarily after having read the agreement.
I HEREBY RELEASE AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY that I or my child may allege against the Releasees (including attorney’s fees, medical expenses) as a direct or indirect result of injury to me or my child because of my child’s participation in the SkyRun, other activity(ies), staying at the accommodation(s), or visiting any associated area(s) whether caused by the negligence of the released parties or others. I AGREE NOT TO INITIATE LITIGATION AGAINST Far and Wide Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, the Mutarazi Falls SkyWalk and Zipline (Pvt) Ltd, or any company, individual involved in any activity, accommodation(s) and associated area(s) on my behalf or my child regarding any claim arising from my child’s or my participation in the activity(ies), staying at the accommodation(s) or visiting the associated area(s).

Once you have completed this form you will have until the 12th of April to make payment. Only once payment has been made will your entry be accepted.

The organisation of the SkyRun event is a huge undertaking and starts in the beginning of the year. All costs are incurred early on in order to ensure a professional event with the highest of safety standards. Due to the nature of this event once you have made payment we cannot provide a full refund.

50% of the entry fee paid will be refunded if an entry is canceled in writing (via email – (skyrun@farandwide.co.zw) on or before the 30th May 2024. 25% will be refunded from the 1st June 2024 up to 1st August 2024. From 1st August 2024 there will not be any refund available.
Substitutions and entry transfers are possible to someone on our waiting list for an admin fee of US$100 up to the 1st of August 2024. From the 1st of August 2024 there will not be any transfers or substitutions.

By registering for SkyRun Zim I agree to not use the Turaco Trail without booking through Far and Wide Zimbabwe, who owns the rights and manages the Turaco Trail as per National Parks Lease Agreement.
